ASF -- Building social connections is so important
Meet Kevin!
Kevin experienced a stroke almost 18 years ago and has been coming to the American Stroke Foundation for over 17 years. After he had his stroke Kevin found comradery at ASF and enjoys engaging with other participants. When asked what his favorite part of ASF included, Kevin stated that engaging in creative conversations where he works on his speech, the opportunities to stay active and engaged, and the opportunity to stay active and engaged, and the opportunity to build social connections are what draws him to ASF. Building relationships with other stroke survivors has had a positive impact on him.
