Air Carrier Access Act
This Act prohibits discrimination based on disability in air travel. This rule applies to all flights of U.S. airlines, and to flights to or from the U.S. by foreign airlines.Â
TSA Cares
TSA Cares is a program that provides information on security procedures that aim to help passengers with disabilities, medical conditions, and individuals needing additional assistance during the screening process. TSA Cares discusses a TSA notification card, TSA pre-check lanes, and call ahead for assistance at the security checkpoint.
TSA Notification Card
A TSA Notification Card can be found online and can be printed off. Individuals can write in their disability or medical condition that may affect their screening. This should be presented to a TSA officer.
Wheelchair Assistance

WheelMate App
The WheelMate App can be downloaded for free onto phones or tablets. Users can enter in their location or city and the app will locate accessible bathrooms and parking that are nearby.
